Surprisingly enjoyable and subversive reboot or perhaps reintroduction to the Karate Kid franchise. I particularly enjoy the skewering of Russo's perma tanned, hyper successful all American family. Subtle and not so subtle nods to Stranger Things, Iron Eagle and the original film make it especially enjoyable for an old git like me who was part of the Karate Kid generation. Watch it!
