Cameron should be embarrassed by this dud of a follow up. I absolutely loved Avatar and have watched it many times. This one I'll never watch again. It's way too long, the story is fraught with a silly plot and the characters ridiculously shallow. The only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is the 4DX experience. It is realistic and dramatic but without 4DX I would have walked out of the movie. It was that bad and I mean B A D bad. The high ratings are simply blind fan bios because the movie is an epic failure. I had no reservations about paying a high price to see this movie in 4DX but it was so bad I'll likely not even go see Avatar 3 in the theater. Bottom line, the movie sucks.

I'm flabbergasted this show is getting high praise and 5* reviews. Call me dated, out of touch or just on the wrong side of the planet but I consider this show to be for brainless twits and/or shallow minded fools. One review said this show was for the "educated" but this MBA carrying viewer considers it static, bland or just plain dumb. If the majority of those rating this show highly are the future leaders of society, god help us.

Fabulous insight and interesting look at the creative process. I've watched part 1 and 2 and can't wait for part 3. Lots of previously discussed issues turned out to be untrue. Yoko is an annoying pest in the room but she didn't cause the Beatles break up. Paul is overbearing and his leadership skills are poor despite having magical creative skills. He caused much of the consternation due to his immature leadership. John would have been a happy contributor long term if the bands leadership hadn't been lost with Brian Epsteins death. The Beatles would not have broken up if Epstein had not passed away. He was the glue and the missing piece in the last years. George was clearly unhappy because his input was minimized but it could have been handled with better leadership. ie Epstein. Ringo just goes with the flow. Seems like the nicest guy with the least baggage. They're mates even during tension. They still laugh and it's basically a family with dysfunction that comes with most families. Interviews post breakup always claimed there was no long term animosity among them and watching them here makes me believe that vs the talking heads claiming that hate existed. The leadership of Epstein can not be dismissed. These were musicians who grew up in the music business. They are immature with interactive life skills and even at this age it shows.

There's lots of lower rated reviews (which is what the series deserves) and I can't add much. While the acting is pretty good the downfall, and probably the reason ratings steadily declined, is behind the camera. Writers, directors and producers. I can see the initial appeal because it had potential but it's easy to see how the ratings kept falling. The writers go in circles and just change the details. Many of the characters become annoyingly stupid due to the lines they're forced to deliver. By the time I was at episode 8 I was ready to start FF some of the scenes. I'm currently at episode 13 but no longer pause to go to the bathroom. This would have been ok as an 8 episode per season series instead of long drawn out network TV where there's so much throw away filler content. Overall it's a no...👎

I watched it when it first came out and just binged watched it again. It was then and still is now one of, if not the, best ever series produced. Certainly the best ever war series, movie and introspective. Just a breathtaking look at men, courage, heart and soul. True story of heroes told in a compelling and enlightening fashion. Cheers...

Pure disaster. There’s no way this should be featured on a paid service like Apple TV. There are far more detailed and enlightening documentaries regarding whale behavior and communication. Worse than that none of this content breaks new ground and might even be regressive considering the absolute laughable conclusions made by these so called “doctors”. The bar has been set extremely low if this is what the science and oceanographic/mammal studying “experts” have fallen to. Yikes!

BRILLIANT! This is a major hit. Fabulous writing and great acting

It gets 2 stars for having a decent 5.1 audio track and some ok camera work. Other than that it's a kiddie show with enough adult content to be rated TV-14. It should be marketed as such as to not confuse the audience that it's adult drama. Over the top unrealistic, purely contrived and predictably predictable. This should not have been produced as TV-14. Most 14 year olds can see through the silliness and predictability. I watched it through for the comedy relief of seeing the show spiraling around the toilet bowl of failure flushed like a turd.

There's nothing new here except maybe Robbies embellishments. They made great music but Robbie is a known braggart and me guy. Levon was right about him and his take in this movie confirms it.

The remake is way better than this garbola.
