Season 2 (by design) is dark and ends most episodes on a bummer note. It’s Dave’s personal and creative “low point” in his life.
Think Empire Strikes Back as the second act; only Luke has two pee holes.
Gata, Parents, and Ally are still my favorite characters - in that order. Biff Wiff has great potential though.
