What a delightful film with great music and perfect casting of the two lead roles. Love how they snuck in cameos by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowith. Plus you can clearly see why they need a part II next year.

As someone who was a sophomore in college and watched that first show when it happened this was a fantastic and mesmerising movie. I had no idea on all the things that happened behind the scenes to make show went to air. Also loved all the unknown actors who portrayed the then-unknown comics. Really liked Jon Batiste's portrayal of Billy Preston and his score.

I delayed seeing this because of the negative reviews and I was not a fan of Reagan as president. But I thought it did a nice job of providing some historical perspective of the man behind the office. Plus, Dennis Quaid did well in his portrayal.

Very nice movie all around. Great acting by both stars.

One of the most entertaining movies from start to finish I have seen all year. And to see it on the 55th anniversary of the moon landing made it even more special.

This is one of those movies where you ignore the critics and see it anyways. It turned out to be a very clever film. Loved the young actress who played the main character. Loved the messages throughout the movie.

I never really followed Amy either in her life or her music. I did know of her death at 27 was in similar fashion to Joplin, Hendrix. and Morrison. What I learned from this good biopic is she could SING! And being a lover of jazz I really love her melodies. Being Jewish myself I found that aspect of her life also intriguing. I feel they missed the boat on telling us about her early life so we could learn how and why she became what she was. To me that keeps this from being 5 stars and possible best picture nominee. But Marisa Abuela does deserve best actress consideration.

Highly entertaining movie with a little bit of everything. Loved the Miami Vice references and cameos by Jason Momoa and Lee Majors.

Actually 3.5 stars. I loved that it kept you guessing right until the end. It also was interesting how all three main characters were both likeable and not likable. They had no shame in doing what's best for them.

While predictable it was a fun and entertaining movie. Glad to know it was based on a true story.
