Juno is one of the greatest films ever made. I would highly recommend the film. Right from the writing by Diablo Cody, to the direction of Jason Reitman, the casting of Elliot Page as Juno and Micheal Cera as Pauli Bleeker, music composition by Mateo Messina, and songs by Kimya Dawson it all fits perfectly. Special mention to the music composition which fits in so well, the composition will always remain unique to Juno.
The film deals with teenage pregnancy and beautifully handles the situations and thoughts that Juno has to go through during those nine months. Juno is someone who does not fantasize about normalcy, she is a very loveable character and has her own unique specs to see the world and deal with it.
I absolutely adored Juno's parents Mac and Bren, who kept on loving and supporting their daughter. They stayed calm and heard Juno instead of chastising her and freaking out. Juno's friends Leah and Bleeker are absolute gems to have in one's life and are wonderful to watch.
The film also has a couple Vanessa and Mark who are going to adopt Juno's child. The couple has their own imperfections and it is lovely to watch them as well. Getting to know another kind of couple and other kinds of imperfections.
All the characters in this film come with their own perfections and imperfections, which is an absolute delight to watch because no one is perfect. But it is love, affection, understanding, and acceptance of oneself and of one another that holds everything together.
