As 90's kid, I grew up watching the Japanese Anime and DD relayed Ramayan and the legendary story which irrefutably is one of the best epics and even better Mahabharata due to strong morals and message it carries of a heroic figure who's persona inspires people of all faiths and cultures. I was very disappointed watching this film. It is fine to reproduce the Ramayan in a different way because there are more than 300 versions of Ramayan in India. But what this movie did was the poorest Digital representation so far. Almost everything from script, screenplay, scenes, dialogues and delivery, Animation and VFX was pretty bad.

I used to watch all this in crime patrol but mostly intercaste hindu honor killings. It's a first time watching a Hindu Muslim interreligious marriage honor killing movie. There wasn't much expected from the story except the challenges faced by the couple but the kind of killing rampage by bobby deol and the police not being able to do anything about was a bit off from reality but that's what movies are about. I'm sure many people will dislike the movie citing it as it was promoting love jihad which is still an unproven phenomenon except rare interreligious marriage cases. Modern times.modern generations. No one is planning to convert a certain audience against or in favor of any community from this movie. It's some drama to watch and enjoy just as a movie.
