This was surprising touching, funny, and involving. It was also educational for those of us not involved in farming, and brought home the difficulties faced by that vital community. Jeremy Clarkson was a revelation as the host, with wit, emotional depth, and generosity. And the characters he surrounded himself with were delightful. And in Caleb he found a perfect foil who didn’t hesitate in pointing out Jeremy’s lack of knowledge and skills. This show was a genuine (and rather unexpected) joy.
