I watched this film with my dad when I was 12 years old. What a cool movie. I won't watch the remake.

I remember the disaster movies in the 50's and the sixties. Fail safe. good movies but, Airplane takes the cake. To this day, If you haven't seen Airport, you MUST get the movie. You can thank me later. ENJOY!

Without a doubt, the GREATEST story ever made. Every actor in this movie did an excellent job. There was humor, sorrow and deep felt pain. My choking up scenes were plenty. Mine was when at the ending scenes of the movie when Mr. Jingles was still alive. I actually cried like a baby. The scene I am speaking of is when at the end of the movie, is when Tom Hanks takes his walk to visit Mr. Jingles, and I realize that Mr. Jingles and Tom Hanks "will never die. I cry like a baby at the ending scene. It's a wonderful, beautiful movie!

Fascinating. I have always enjoyed reading. I found this book at Barns and Noble a few days ago and, I have not been able to put it down. I googled the author and discovered he had passed away. I was heart broken. I wanted to thank him for the wonderful job he did writing his book. I very much encourage others to read this book. I only wish I could have thanked him for writing such a wonderful story.
