I looked forward to this movie even if I'm not a loyal fan to the series, unfortunately I got strong vibes of being a cash grab. Trying to squeeze in iconic music at every possible moment. And I'd like someone to explain why no one is surprised when Scooby could talk, even in the original show Scooby could ever say a few words. This might have worked better if they tried to convey his emotions through his natural expressions like some other famous characters. The animation is smooth and modern, and shows that loads of effort was put into it. But I got confused with the art style, you have the crew in one style then Simon Cowel is a realistic style, and the falcon is another with exaggerated features. It might have worked better if they stuck to the same style for all the characters. Lastly the story was lacking and forced, it was predicable and childish, it might be because I pictured the characters more mature. What might have improved it is that you could use the same story plot but convey it in a more mature and complicated way. Overall the movie was okay and would watch once or twice on an occasion which doesn't happen very often. It's a great family friendly movie to watch and a boredom buster for those who are bored.
