Wonderful, wonderful film acting is superb, Mickey Rooney is stellar. This is a feel-good uplifting film about a nobody-horse w/ no papers, beating all the rest of the horses. This horse: Cass Ole is so majestic and so beautiful ~ it’s worth watching the movie just to see him and feel his energy ! Enjoy !

🌲🌷 greetings ! I hope everyone sees this amazing, amazing film ~ it is like no other film. And the filmmaker takes us on this journey into a new friendship with a octopus that I don’t think anybody else has ever had. I have eaten squid and octopus most of my life and I will never eat another one after seeing this film, but I should mention that I have been seriously planning to stop eating animals as of late as I just can’tSeparate reality and the truth that I don’t need that “meat” to have the healthiest diet and the spiritual aspects of eating another animal & having them suffer just so you can have your entrée just doesn’t hold water anymore for me. but the tenderness and the beauty and the beginning middle and end of their friendship has touched me so deep in my soul and heart that I look forward to watching it at least a couple of more times because there’s so much to take in. what a sweet, sweet film don’t miss it !!🌲🌷

Well shot doc. W/ lots of heart and soul ~ very interesting story about an amazing amazing artist who truly was a genius. his sculptures actually feel like they’re still alive still full of vital energy even though they are old. I really like Glen Bray & his lover Lena, and most of the cast as they were endeared to this man as he opened up to them and shared his amazing life story and his accomplishments as an artist ~ pretty amazing story ! I tiotally agree w/ the review nelow mine: He definitely should be placed w/ the greats: especially right next to Michelangelo ! His art reminds me of Michelangelo’s Art, and no one’s art has ever done that to me. There should be a traveling global exhibit of his art to re-educate everyone especially the art Communities about this amazing genius and so that everyone can get even a glimpse of his work ~ I will never forget him. Thank you for making this wonderful documentary !

🌷🌲Holiday Greetings ! In a nutshell, Greta Gerwig did an amazing job: with costumes set design cast acting and then she throws it all to the wind and edits the film so (OMGosh)! most of the movie is out of sequence !! I’ve read reviews that just the ending was out of sequence but there is a “lot” of the story in flashback & going back-and-forth and Jo’s imaginations = A BIG MESS OF A STORY !! It’s a royal mess! Shame on you, Greta, for taking a beloved classic and having it be so topsy-turvy that you can’t even follow it . . . & for someone who doesn’t know the story, well, they’ll be totally lost !! Please re-edit the film, do it in sequence and then ~ you could be proud of a lovely film! Do not go to see this movie during the holidays wait till it comes out on DVD as it’s not worth the ticket price to see this mess ! 🌷🌲 Do you want to see an uplifting positive romantic comedy with a happy ending ? it’s free on Amazon prime and it’s called: “ladies in black” 🌷🌲 enjoy !!

If you want comedic romance definitely Look elsewhere this movie is really quite depressing and boring and I don’t think Julian Moore acts very well and John to Touro was quite unattractive , the only part of it I liked was the cat and the screenplay should’ve never been filmed And I agree with another reviewer that Said her dancing is a bit painful to watch! Check out the film “FINDING YOUR FEET” it’s truly a feel good film & a gift from the director & very wonderful cast ! Enjoy !

Just rented it at Redbox and thought I’d check out the reviews. Jen Fischer~ thank you for your positive review amidst all the mud slinging reviews! There’s hope. I love Sam Rockwell so I had to see it.
