It is a little confusing.However it has a fixation element. It seems similar to a recent series about Vienna in the same period with a Freudian doctor detective. I am still watching.

It is an incredibly powerful read. I am reading it for the second time. I am also viewing the movie version on Amazon prime. Grossman had real courage, I am delighted that his name is gaining the fame he deserved. Even a posthumous tribute hopefully will immortalise his literary skills.
