Shoehorned narratives and bad impersonations does not a good film make. Michael Gandolfini held his own, too bad he didn't get more screen time. Even the kid who played young Tony was humorous and interesting. the rest of the cast came across as bad impersonations of beloved characters. The primary problem with TMSN is we're expected to care for characters simply because they are part of the show. I felt NOTHING for the characters. The race issue felt forced and frankly, unnecessary. Everything felt forced.
