As a gamer, I was very excited to be able to play this game, as it looked very similar to some of the titles that I absolutely love. However, as a Christian, I really have to say this game rubbed me the wrong way (If you're not a Christian, then by all means play the game). There are several instances within this game in which you had to either choose to save the "god" or kill them. I would not recommend this game.
As far as combat systems go, it feels like half of The abilities that should be there, are missing. By the time you reach level 20 which is the highest level for your abilities, The abilities really aren't doing very much anymore.. The highest level abilities are underwhelming, And feel as though you worked your way up for nothing. By the end of the game, I was still using the skills I unlocked at level 5.
The storytelling /writing wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.
Graphically speaking, the game is beautiful, And the developers put a lot of effort into making sure that if you ventured off the given path, you would find some loot there.. Unfortunately 98% of that loot Is useless crafting materials.
The game leaves much to be desired when it comes to weapon variety as well, with a grand total of 3-4 unique items for each set (wands, swords, helms, gauntlets etc...) most of the items that you pick up, Are just a higher rarity version of the exact same thing you started with, You could take your beginner items, never pick anything up but crafting materials, And end the game with those very same items.
