This is probably the first google review of the series. I was extremely excited to watch this show considering the historical references meshed with fiction. The series certainly didn't disappoint me as it was fast-paced with beautiful cinematography and impactful dialogues. Although the VFX was decent, it could have been better at few shots. However not something that bothered me too much as story line kept me engaged. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the entire cast performed?! I especially liked Dino Morea and Rahul Dev the most for their effortless portrayal of characters. Needless to say, Dino stole the show and his chemistry with Drashti worked well onscreen. The costumes are stunning and each shot (especially the ones inside the palaces) resemble a painting in itself. I understand many people consider this show as a means to glorify Mughals, but trust me it's more about portrayal of journey of a character, who happens to be a Mughal Emperor. Moreover, the story focuses on the female characters of Mughal Empire that actually played a crucial role in deciding fate of the entire dynasty. The plot is full of twists and turns that makes it a unique blend of history and thriller. High time that we support such creations. Thus, rating it five stars! 🌟
