Excellent movie about a traumatized vet and his daughter both of whom are struggling with his ptsd. He is a great father and she is a supportive daughter, but he needs to keep wandering and she longs to put down roots. His pain is so great that immersion in nature away from the pressure of having to interact with other people, is the only thing that comforts him. But as his daughter points out, what is wrong with him. Is not wrong with her and she needs to be with a community of people.

Interesting concept. A thriller created from the idea that certain actions can reverse themseves, while others continue to move forward. This gets conflated with the reversal of time, which is confusing. Also confusing is the clipped dialogue which I can't hear clearly most of the time. Worse the film doesn't adequately set up the plot. The characters are compelling but with the poor audio sound like they are mumbling their way through the film. What a waste of talent. Certainly the action sequences are impressive, but this is like watching a poorly dubbed, but big budget foreign film with no subtitles. What should be exciting is annoying.

Excellent. Authentic and thoughtful. The characters are well developed and work well together. The stories are interesting because they are relatable. Very well written.

Incredible film. Shows how anger from loss nd hurt manifests and morphs to fill gaps and vulnerabilities in our lives, but that our connection to others can cause it to evaporate.

Incredible story. Eli Cohen's handler when debating with him about what to tell his wife about his true profession said that the truth was much worse than anything she could imagine. The film captured well his surreal circumstances and how being undercover for so long changed him-- out of necessity. Only his changed persona could have done what he did, could have functioned so successfully. The story certainly raises the question of whether people or circumstances drive events. The film also captured how Cohen began to lose himself as shown during his infrequent but intense trips back to his family. Cohen's personal conflicts, his courage, and the bond he had with his family were remarkably well portrayed in the film. Lastly, the film's portrayal of Syria, particularly its brutality and lack of political and economic sophistication, made Cohen's ability to infiltrate quickly plausible. It is a really worthwhile series to watch. Sasha Cohen and all the actors did a remarkable job.
