Wonderful animation, colorful. Beautiful song. But the storyline and concept is a bit of.. meh. It started off cool, with a VR concept. But the open world turns strange, ppl just goes around gossiping on people they don't even know, singing in open area, and chasing other characters? It felt strange... It's a mesh of ICQ with tiktok with uh...police and robber game? Was expecting beauty and the beast like story too(as promoted). In the end, it turns out so differently as it was not a love story (huh, har??). Lastly was the unreveal ray gun, that could be used to reveal the real person behind the avatar. The main protagonist, just grabs it to reveal herself felt so strange. Yes, the gun is like a game item, however, it just felt non-fluid presentation. Maybe it's way ahead of it's time that didn't blend well. Its hard to chew on the story and concept given by the writer. Still 3 stars as it's still watchable and in few years time this show can be relevant to the younger generations.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

No batman? Not Joker? No problem. Harley is here! After watching suicide squad(terrible movie) and suicide squad 2(a total 180deg improvement) one character that is played so well was Harley Quinn and this show just continues that quality! Margot Robbie plays her role so well; it's as if reading it from the comics. The narration was even spot on... It rings in the ear, "hello Mr J,..." Glad they introduced the Black Canary, she's different from "injustice" comic when I was introduced to this character. But she's one of the best noble heroine. Haha, in "injustice" series, wonder women was the one I really hated the most (but I liked the movie version). Really felt great after watching it. Hope there could be a sequel even though it's announced it was cancelled. But hey, it might be possible, right? Its there violence? Yes and that's good, she's a villain with a PHD after all.
