Zaire Booker

I loved this movie it brought me to tears. I loved how diverse the characters were curly to straight hair, dark to fair skinned. I do love the movie as an Afro-Latina from Nicaragua I felt a little distraught because of the various amount of characters I felt like they didn’t get into them that much. I wanted to hear each of their stories on how they felt about their gifts an upside or a downside. Abuela kind of didn’t acknowledge Bruno on why he left and also how she left the family with her trauma and didn’t apologize. Everything just felt rushed but that is just my opinion I hope they will be a second movie or even a spin-off show to get more in depth about the Madrigal family.
