Good characters in this but is so far out in left field from the Hillerman books it is laughable and if Leaphorn loses any more vehicles the department will have to revert to horses again. Too predictable in so many areas whereas with these actors this could have been an outstanding series. Chee a PI? LOL....wow...what genius thought that one up?

Initially this was a good show without all the soap opera drama that is so typical of these types. When Missy left it actually got better until she returned. Her character part has become far to arrogant to be realistic. Bring back the blonde who got pregnant. She was believable

Sadly, this has become a soap opera of the worst kind. Hard to believe there can be so much internal conflict among one unit and still get things done. As the episodes go on the dysfunction gets well into the soap realm.

Really enjoyed this first season. Hope it continues and also hope it does not devolve into some sort of soap opera that so many do. Keep it with a mission purpose and it will be great. Best mini-series in many, many years.
