I enjoyed every nanosecond of Amazon Prime’s Cinderella Movie, so much so that I rushed to tell my nieces to watch it. I have seen many versions of the Cinderella story in my lifetime, over being 45 years old, and this is my personal favourite. I felt empowered and inspired. The message of female empowerment; the handsome, badass ensemble cast of Billy Porter, the fairy godmother, Pierce Brosnan, king, and Minnie Driver, queen, and the beautiful Idina Kim Menzel, the evil stepmother, makes for splendid viewing. I also thoroughly enjoyed the music choices, and dance choreographies had me dancing literally. The cultural diversity and the subtle, sometimes, less subtle demonstrations of modernity. That violin drop was just epic. I encourage every female to watch it. You will certainly enjoy it.

I quite enjoyed this movie; it is relevant and timely.

Crying for a movie I didn’t even watch. Let me explain, I read the story then jetted through various scenes in the movie. The scenes I caught had me crying. This is an absolutely well acted, directed and touching film.

The acting, the chemistry astounding. I rewatch this movie every couple of years.

Ok movie. Always happy to see Kat. However the chemistry/edit at the end was not compelling to warrant the ending the movie got.

The wait seems like a million years. And now that I am watching it, I feel like the movie is moving too fast. Feel like I want to slow it down and enjoy.
