I was a big fan of Witcher 3 and I have to say that this show really captured the fantastic atmosphere of the game very well. Henry Cavil who played the witcher played the role perfectly. I would say this is probably the best video game to movie/show adaptation I have seen ( I realize they probably leaned on the books more than the game but they could have fooled me). The one critic I have is that they should remove/redo the initial monster fight from the opening scene of the the show. There is something that is just not right about it. It could be the CG or maybe the scene is just not dark enough, who knows but I have heard the same comment from several people who have seen the show.
