I really enjoyed the first Trolls movie. It had a well-thought out storyline. This sequel was extremely disappointing. I’m shocked it received such positive reviews. The storyline was complex for the targeted audience. It is important to accept others and the differences that make each of us unique, which appeared to be the theme of this movie. It was poorly executed. It had potential but lacked the precise storyline and evolution of characters like the first Trolls movie. There were just too many characters that couldn’t be developed with too many subplots. And....no Bergen’s until a short clip as the movie credits were rolling. Very disappointed, wouldn’t watch again. I rented it for $20. I won’t be buying it when it’s available to own.
