A great programme that dealt with a real character who was a double agent but by order & dealt with the reality of how spies were seen as bad peoples, brigands and untrustworthy. It also dealt with deniable culpability and knowing there would be no help, of caught. Sam Neill played the part very well and I really looked forward to each new episode. Sadly it left no room for any further series but I’d love to see it again. Those Ruskie spies in the then NKVD were hard people. I’d totalky recommend this to anyone and especially military sorts, who know their stuff.
