I thoroughly enjoyed "Jumanji: Into the Jungle" when it first came out. I was very excited about the different people who were being featured in the movie. With all of that added up, that movie was pretty amazing, funny, and just exactly what I needed. Now I know that sequels generally aren't as good as the originals, but I had high expectations. Those expectations were sort of met. I felt that it was very rough around the edges and at times the energy level felt a little lower. I know the director was trying, but it felt like something didn't work, and made the audience have to work to understand the complex scenarios that were happening on our screens. However, it was funny, entertaining, and captivating. I do not think it is worth seeing in theatres, but it is worth purchasing.
