The movie is a synchronized melancholy of life if you see it from the point of Lonliness. Jim being separated from humanity and social relationship on a travel to find another home makes the mistake(from the viewpoint of stranger-aurora) by awakening aurora. Aurora at the climax during last fire ejection scene understands what it means to be lonely when Jim dies (here movie plot makes Aurora understand how she would do the same thing if Jim is dead i.e. being alone on a ship she would have also choose to wake another person to make up with her lonliness) and understands and forgives his misdoing for awakening her. I watched the movie during the release and I thought the movie was good and Aurora was wronged and Jim is a scum and so on,. But after I re watched the movie in 2021 {amid covid-19 (if u r reading this in the future u would known of this pandemic situation) } I understand the feeling of Jim and also got to know why Aurora finally forgives and marries Jim instead of sleeping in autodoc. Its human nature to live in society as man is a social being. There's Love, spacetravel experience, adventure, humanity, life and death, and an wonderful screenplay that makes the audience to watch the movie again and again to feel the melancholy of life.
