So many forms of oppression and absence echo in the scenes as they unfold that this documentary, while ostensibly “about” a black woman, is universally relevant. The narrative structure, masterful use of home videos and, of course, the powerful voice of one amazing woman make this aN unexpected masterpiece in my book.

Best Dracula in a long time. Plenty of dark tongue-in-cheek humor, gore, plot twists, multiple timelines, witty dialogue, accents ... rich production values and wardrobe is delicious as well. Thanks BBC and Netflix
