The Mean, Green, Deadpool Machine!
She Hulk is a stretch into the masses that pulls away from the original audience. Smashing into focus with witty remarks and risk free danger is a formula that the MCU continuity has applies as early as "Avengers" where we are first introduced to MCU's Hulk.
The Hulk has had a transformative journey from his initial solo movie pre-avengers (Incredible Hulk), up to "She-Hulk" where we now see him as a science bro; part hunk part clunk, amidst the clumsy cgi we see that his use in the MCU is coming to and end and a new eara begining.
Enter she-hulk, a jazzy attorney who takes the lead. But what can I tell you about She-Hulk that these reviews already havent stated? yes the cgi has issues, yes She-Hulk undermines the journey of Hulk/Bruce Banner to make this new character look better, and sure inserting a feminist perspective into the show is cringy to some but the biggest issue that viewers are facing is super hero fatigue and no amount of disney plus shows can fix that. A serious Marvel, let alone an MCU, is nowhere in sight and wont be returning any time soon.
Turning to She-Hulk's defense, we are dealing with a 9 episode trial that has one episode listed so far and while first impressions of the new attorney are bleak im certian that cameos of more seasoned characters like Wong and Daredevil will change the jury's perspective.
She-Hulk rates at a 3/5 with this review in her favor. lets not judge until we see the whole thing but judge for now on the direction marvel is going since Endgame.
