Read a few comments and I personally think those who gave a really bad review probably didn’t understand the movie enough causing some misconceptions lmao. The point of the competition is to shame the different tribes by making the loser tribes feel inferior and hence they lose their determination to protect the king when he is in danger. The competition is not supposed to be the focus as it acts a purpose of just tearing apart the different tribes’ loyalty for the king. So, I’m quite confused when some reviews here didn’t seem to understand the purpose of the competition. Overall, there are definitely some characters that could be developed more and the ending was quite unsatisfying since the main character did not really gain THAT much from his journey. Was hoping to see he could regain the throne but I guess the scriptwriters have other plans.
