I felt it to be a waste of my time. Not only is the theme completely different from the original book but the characters are completely 2-d. Also spoilers ahead- Beth doesn’t die, THERE IS NO Professor and AMY AND LAURIE DO NOT END UP TOGETHER. Which is my favorite part of the book and Amy stays young the entire time. It’s just not practical and doesn’t stay true to the original story but read on your own account.
