Though it falls into the same old recycled genre romance vs home wrecker theme, I would say the film was and its still the best out of that genre....ala...Enemy Of The state except instead of government spies you have an obsessed chick wanting bad romance ....ga ga ga ga gotcha ya...lol ...great performance from Idris, Beyonce and Ali Carter....I love how they even diverted from the stiff competition that came a couple of years before ala Denzel's Out Of time .....Beyonce and Ali Carter stole the show...however the ending seemed like a quick lets wrap it up due to budget and all 3 main lead performers had other obligations to tend to...Does it drag...No not really per say but given its premise (2009) the reason why you don't get it free today ...is that testament of how this film holds ...bear in mind this film came out the same year as Emmerich's 2012, Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, The Hurt locker and of course Avatar....Elba was coming off American Gangster....I personally enjoyed....riveting and great cinematography...Its worthy to be in your collection....I enjoyed it though I am not much into romance films .....4/5 for me . side note , the film is available on Netflix through sub service and on other streaming services through purchases and rentals Thank you for reading this.
