Monster-verse masterpiece!! Similar to Planet Of The Apes where you begin to feel and understand the animals/creatures just as much as humans. I loved that about it. I did not understand that child's connection to Kong until they mentioned get back story which made compete sense after. And finally seeing the monsters on screen after the humans do what they do to push the story line was WELL worth the wait. New found respect for Godzilla and Kong. We needed this!!
