Combines the stories of the first two games in a mostly coherent story. The story jumps back and forth between the storylines for the two games. Fans of the games will notice some new or missing elements, but it hits all the major plot points. People who aren't familiar with the games may have a harder time following along. Looking at it from just a horror movie perspective, I'd probably only give it 2 stars. Some of the CGI looks like it's from a late 2000's movie. A couple of jump scares that horror fans won't even register. If you're a fan of the games, it's worth checking out just to finally a see decent attempt at telling the story we already know. If you've never played the games, it's basically an easily skippable horror movie.
