Non-spoiler review: If you go into it expecting an ACTUAL horror movie, it’s not for you. It felt like watching a student film with an insane budget. Gorgeous cinematography and unexpected John Wick action sequences. You have to suspend A LOT of disbelief. If you enjoy Stranger Things and cheesy 80’s but mostly anachronistic horror/comedy B-list movies, it is definitely for you. If I’m judging it for what it is and not what I wish it was, I’d give it a 4/5. Knocking off one star because there were too many cliches.
