Watching 60 minutes and the refugee episode and wondering how people immigrate to the USA where the universal language is English, yet we are hindering these child immigrants by showing Sesame Street in their foreign language. When my grandfather immigrated to the USA from Germany, I assure you, the German language was not allowed in school. You had to learn English. It saddens me how much things have changed for immigrants. How do you fit in when you can't even speak the language. You stand out. We are hindering more than helping I believe. Do you really fit in when you cant speak the language? So very sad. Dividing our melting pot?!? How can that possibly work? Accommodate every language? Get with it!
