I grew up watching the Smurfs and loved the movies, even The Lost Village was awesome! This new one was lame didn't I like the voices. Love Rihanna as a singer, but hard pass as Smurfette.

Please don't show a 10th graders breast (the actress is over 18, but still). I'm sure the pedos loved that part. Sloppy jokes and sad that a 40 year old teacher is having drinks w/teenagers. Plus teens snorting drugs! Quick scene of 2 (high schoolers!!!) dudes having anal sex💩. Gross IF the audience is for teenagers, then snorting drugs, anal sex, etc. isn't appropriate IF the audience is for adults, then who'd want to see the stuff I mentioned?

No spoilers It's a solid ok. Huge fan of the Alien movies and loved how we discovered how they came to be in Prometheus and Alien Covenant with the help of David. I was so excited for this movie but was let down. Lots of nostalgia, however, please stop recycling the iconic lines from the other movies. Teen crew (not likable, bratty) with no adults. Story line itself was lame. Incubation period was incredibly quick since we don't have much of an attention span anymore. This movie was made for teens. Glad we saw it in a dark theater cause it's very dark. If you rent it, watch in complete darkness. There was better lighting in Aliens & Alien 3 with broken down locations CG was great in some area and terrible in others. When you see it you'll know!!! It's like they ran out of time and then lost interest. If you're a huge fan, just rent it. I think you'll be happy and disappointed at the same time. Alien Covenant already set everything up! They laid an almost perfect story line to play off of. Plus, I absolutely loved Tennessee and Daniels.

With everything CG, what a breath of fresh air they used Jim Henson creature shop! They could have went the easy route and had everything computerized. Loved the first LOTR, but someone got lazy and The Hobbit movies were computerized (same w/, Star Wars 4-6 & the modernized CG prequels 1-3). So thank you for taking me back to the good ole days of Jim Henson's workshop😍 Brings me back to when I was a child. Loved The Dark Crystal, Labryinth, ET, Gremlins etc. So it was a pleasant surprise they took it old school. Love it!
