Terrific actors as well developed characters, great story, good direction, and editing. Lots of action, a bit of a twist. Very well done.

I tried to get into this movie, to give it a chance. But frankly, it fell flat. And not because it didn't deliver on gore, but because it did not deliver on the truly fearful path that should have lead to the gore. The adults weren't anymore convincing than the children, who were even less convincing than the flipping goat. I will never understand why anyone thought this thing successful. I felt no suspense, no tension, no nothing. Just flat. Go watch Silence of the Lambs. That was a master class. This was just crap.

I think this may be the most terrifying, tension inducing movie I've seen since Silence of the Lambs. I hope I don't live long enough to ever see this really happen.

I really appreciate the talent and creativity of those who can sew well. I've been astounded by what people have created on this show. But the last year or so haven't been quite as enjoyable as previous years. It's not enough to fill those diversity slots. We're expecting the best sewing among amateurs. But what I'm actually seeing is more like a Vivienne Westwood X RuPaul Revue. The judges are not young, and seem desperate to appear edgy and current when they're actually several generations removed from the current young adult market. Maybe finding judges a bit younger, with more understanding of current fashion, who can still appreciate the classics, would be helpful. Current presenter is not funny, not helpful. And Patrick REALLY needs to lose the moustache. It's getting pretty gnarly and it does him no favors. Sam Elliott, he's NOT.

Now THAT was a great film. Spare, no frou frou, scary as sh*t! Well done all the way through. I may have trouble sleeping tonight...

I was thinking this was really an amazing film until it turned into a hyper graphic mess towards the end. It was like all the slasher flicks that ever existed, vomited up a hideous offspring. Sadly not saved by the street cleaner at the very end, although it was a nice try. Ah well, there ya go.

I'll admit I watch this when there's nothing else interesting, and mostly because it's kinda fun thinking of all those stiffs back at the palace watching all this in horror. It's all very pretty and perfect and charming and as unauthentic as you can be and still use real people. No regular people will relate, some less regular and more unfortunate, might watch with envy. But it's all pretty empty. Hey, she got her thang, and doesn't have to do boring royal stuff and be upstaged by the unattractive and inbred back in the UK, so I'm sure she's happy. Hopefully she makes time in her rarified lifestyle branding scheme for husband and children. What the heck is Harry doing these days, writing another book? I get him wanting out of the royal fishbowl that effectively destroyed his mother. And I'm sure he relishes his greater freedom. But you can't have it all. So I hope Meghan and her stuff was worth the price of admission. Or rather omission. Just him, her and the kids. No Dad, brother, uncles, aunts, cousins. But also no dreadful pseudo "Queen" to have to bow to all the time. So, pros and cons. I still feel sorry for Harry.

It's a lovely story. Not perfect. But that's kind of the point.

While the story and characters had merit, I don't feel that it was executed well overall. That lands blame on the director, who's vision was faulty. Got the feeling this story was trying very hard to decide what it wanted to be but just couldn't get there. The Unicorns were dreadful. They looked mangy and didn't move well, that's bad CGI. The only character with any integrity, played by Jenna Ortega, was also very sadly cast more as a victim. Why the heck wasn't she a HERO? So, in the end, a decent idea that was not well served. Geez, some of the effects were downright cheesy. In this day and age? Interesting that both Rudd and Ortega got exec. prod. credit on this one. Needed to be better. 👎

Finally got around to watching this reboot of SATC, and kind of wish I hadn't. There was a time for these characters, and they are now well past their sell by date. What made them loveable back then, makes them obnoxious now. Mostly, this second series is just trying too hard, and it's excruciating. I honestly cannot decide which character I find most unbearable, let's call it a three way tie. Kim and her Samantha character are well out of it. I honestly don't think I can even finish the whole first season. Just too painful. Big was lucky to get out in the first episode.
