Dylan Prince

This has taken the spot of my favourite Spider-Man film. It has all the heart, emotion, humour. dark moments and action that I love in a Spider-Man film. It also doesn't play it safe and takes many swings that it's successful with in confidence. This is Tom Holland's best performance as Peter Parker and to me he really shows why he's my favourite Spider-Man Actor and I've really enjoyed seeing his growth throughout his trilogy and I'm excited to see where he goes next. Willam Dafoe as Green Goblin is an absolute standout, his performance is even better then it was in the 2002 film, he feels way more deranged and evil. The rest of the cast absolutely kill it too

One of the best DC movies to come out, it's way better then the first one and I appreciate that it embraces the more silly/whacky side of comics while balancing it out with some pretty heavy and dark moments. I'm glad they didn't try to just do the whole dark and gritty tone which has been done to death in DC stuff. The DCEU has certainly got back on track

Theres plenty to like about this film but it moves wayyy too fast in many sections and the way they bring back Palpatine without explanation and how he's able to have hundreds of Star Destroyers is really silly, even by star wars standards and the big Rey reveal didn't feel as impactful as the Darth Vader/Luke moment in Empire, overall it is enjoyable but its brought down by many elements that leave me with mixed feelings which is a first as I can usually appreciate every star wars film for what they are but this film leaves me wondering how much better it could have been if they had pushed the release date back to maybe the end of 2020 because then they wouldnt have had such a tight schedule to complete it

By far the best Spider-Man film released yet, I won't spoil anything but the acting is fantastic, the story is great and Tom Holland has truly shown that he is the best live action Spidey
