I will not say that you should not read this book. But this book is little biased towards Nehru ji, Indira Gandhi ji and totally against BJP or NDA govt. He just clearly stated that whatever work is done by NDA govt. is propaganda based towards hindu communalism, like he didn't even appreciated for the Nuclear test, that is also wrong and has not been handled properly. According to him the Kargil war was also a propaganda of BJP. But even the Emergency is justified in Congress rule. Although it's a good book to get knowledge about that time but with little bias.
