I didn’t very much care for this. I just watched it to see what the hype was all about. This movie didn’t deserve as much hype as it received. It was very underwhelming. I’ve never read the book or seen the 80s film. This was my first introduction to the world of Dune. The shots were good & the visuals were stunning as well as the set pieces & vehicles that were used as well as the technology. But my god was this a confusing & slow building, boring film that took itself way too seriously. I fell asleep partway through because I lost interest. Then I eventually switched it to something else. This as well as Zack Snyder’s 300 are the only 2 movies I fell asleep halfway through & eventually switched it to something else because I lost interest & couldn’t take it anymore.

It's a decent film. It's actually a great remake coming from Toho and the newer design of Godzilla is unique, scary and you feel his lumbering, overpowering presence. His newer abilities kinda felt a bit overkill, but then again, what else would you expect from an over the top Godzilla film? The human side actually had some tough, thought provoking decision making, especially with the military and government officials. It does get a little bit repetitive, but it does add a little merit and weight to the story progression.

This was the series that I grew up with & is HONESTLY the best representation of the turtles.It's the best series. This is the ONLY series to actually really follow the storyline of the original comics, with a few twists & plot points that are actually ORIGINAL show ideas. None of this newer, weird TMNT stuff that's accidentally impressive & somehow getting good reviews.
