Wonderful read. Hilary Mantel definitely brings an excellent story to life. Characters are relatable and well written. Book flows slowly, yet is necessary for it to do so. Excellent novel! Highly recommended to those who are fascinated with Tudor history and the events of Thomas Cromwell's life.

Excellent read. Second book in the trilogy and just as good as the first book. Characters are relatable and well written. Highly recommend this trilogy to those who are interested in The Tudor history and Thomas Cromwell. Clear your schedule, clear your calendar, don't make any plans when you sit down to read these books.

No. Just no. Claire Foy is passable as Lisbeth. And that's about it. Gave it a chance hoping somehow it would be better than the novel. I'd rather sit through the original Swedish versions with dubbed English.

Spider's Web falls short on so many levels. Attempts to further the original trilogy by any one else is a tricky business. Just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you should do a thing. Perhaps I am too devoted to the original version. Something was missing and I can't pinpoint what it was. Would not recommend any of the newer versions.
