Huge fan of the show!! But for me this movie was a letdown. I found the plot unimaginative, the songs were forgettable (especially compared to the amazing series tunes), and in short the movie was not nessicary. We did not learn anything new about a single character from the series.
For my wife and I, the Steven Universe story ended with season 7 and we will pretend the movie did not happen.
