Why in EVERY(!) episode there is a plane/helicopter which hasn't noticed them and "gave them so much hope and immediate disappointment"? If you watch about 4 episodes you notice that scenario is pretty much the same: get lost - spend some time lost - see helicopter/plane - meet other danger or disappointment (car/bear/shark etc.) - got found. Don't believe it's totally true...
