After just watching the edgy 90s original, this cringe-inducing reboot left me mourning the time when movies were risky and exciting, and not just ticking the generic boxes outlined by the Hollywood woke-mob.

Fantastic cast, with what felt like a delicately building plot with looming plot twists. Sadly, This was spoilt by unrelenting cliches, anti-climatic spooks, and an ending about as exciting as a bowl of Luke-warm porridge.
