I had high hopes for the sequel, but it was a let down.

This show has literally taken over my life! There is so much depth to the characters, and I love how instead of revealing to us the producers make us read and analyze the characters and their actions, to really understand them and their hidden meanings. No, "country folk" aren't always ray of sunshines who spend the majority of their time at rodeos and jubilees. The ranch life is hard, especially when majority of the population wants progress, and blame men like John Dutton for being selfish because he wont give up the land that his family has owned through generations. The story and plot are in fact realistic in my opinion.
