The first time I watched this movie, I did not like it as much, such as with Into Darkness, they both were missing the magic of the the 2009 Star Trek, but now going back and watching them, it interesting at how they are much better in comparison to the horrible shows and movies that have come out in recent years. Minus the recent Picard Season 3, most new Star Trek is a let down. I have resulted in re-watching the TOS and working my way up to re-watching all the TNG seasons. Other than the silly Beastie Boys part at the end of the movie, it has held up and is much better than when it came out.

After all these years I still do no understand why this movie was rated bad, Its a thousand times better than Batman V Superman and Justice league, and Man of Steel

Finally watched this movie and was very surprised at how good it was, it is definitely the next best one after part 1. Too bad this quality wasn't in all of them. For anyone tired of these films I would say give this one a chance. I hope they do more after this one honestly. I will be buying the 4K version of this one for sure, the special effects are really good. I do other film reviews on my Youutube channel as well.
