I was disappointed how much license this film took with Christie's novel, and felt the added characters and story line detracted rather than added to her version. For example, Christie didn't include a blues singer and musicians, or the character Bouc who plays a major role. I would have preferred the original story and a shorter running time, and believe the film would have benefited from it.
