Who is this show even for? The judges and ingredients are rigged towards Thailand. The editing is so bad, a child pointed it out. The subtitles on Netflix are wildly inconsistent. The set literally broke in one of the episodes. The challenges don't fit with the show, and the challengers don't have representation from so many asian countries. Also, why does the quality of the camera change? Did they film part of this on a smartphone? The only fun part of the show was when they took the indian chefs to a tepanyaki and made them eat wagyu beef.

Completely ruined a good idea of mixing baking with engineering. 1. The judges were biased and clearly had favourites, changing the rules of the show to eliminate the group that they didn’t like. 2. The judges were quite cruel at times when someone’s work failed. At least in other shows they give encouragement when a group/contestant has a huge catastrophe. 3. I felt like the baking side of the show was neglected, barely any mention of cakes or the like at any point in the preparation stages. 4. The editing was choppy and all over the place. 5. I wouldn’t have known that the host was either a magician or comedian from the show. 6. An incredible waste of food and the pure embodiment of what is wrong with cooking shows. 7. This is kind of minor as it’s a reality show, but the clothes could have been changed at least once for the sake of it. 8. The challenges weren’t very well thought out. They could have a more cohesive theme. 9. I love how the judges claimed multiple times about how everything should be edible, but I’d never eat the things that were used in the construction in most episodes. I’d like to see them eat those materials to prove me wrong.

The show has nice graphics, and the narrator has a neutral accent, but the information was either outdated or just plain wrong. The sound was deafening, and the phrase “drain the ocean.” easily added 1-5 minutes of runtime for each episode. Wouldn’t recommend unless to kill time or as a really boring drinking game.
