Finally a show that is authentic, fresh, and interesting! Full of fascinating culture and beautiful scenery. This is lighthearted with the odd heavy scene, funny and quirky and cute.
You won't find anything else like this out there- it's one of a kind.

It's a very clever story and the writing is impeccable. I liked his characters very much and he truly did build a world here, brilliantly done. However, I finished it feeling underwhelmed. I will not deny that GGK is a wonderful writer. I just wanted to be swept away and unable to put it down, neither of which this book provided for me personally.

Loved this series! Such amazing acting. Season 2 was my absolute favorite! I wasn't around in the 50s/60s but they created this authentic world to immerse yourself in, each character so flawed yet so endearing. Very, very funny, and though you know she will end up successful, her journey is incredibly unpredictable!
