Eeeeewwwwww Wow, such a strange series over 6 episodes. All great actors. Storyline..... well... This has or had the potential to be something really dark, drawn out almost scanda noir. Scottish backwater, jesus, in the glove police (bobby) etc. Episode 3 & 4 were excellent, but the rush of 5 & 6... just forced, almost comedic. Was this a black comedy or a dark crime drama? I'm lost.. favourite characters were Tommy's & John's Wives. Definitely something of potential in their relationship... not surprised ITV haven't commissioned a 2nd season and kinda feel sorry for David Ireland..I get the impression he pushed on time and budget on this. Wish I could have liked this even more because I spent days thinking about it and that for me is normally the sign of an excellent programme.
