I am thankful to Vivek Agnihotri and Anupam Kher. For all the buzz around Kashmir Files. I am planning to go watch the movie this weekend. Though I am litte uncomfortable at the politicisation of the movie. While reading some comments on Facebook (on KF), someone mentioned the movie Shikara. While I do remember this movie getting released some time back, seeing the reviews I didn’t watch it then. I just finished watching the movie on Prime. I am puzzled how it has got such low ratings. In my view, Shikara is a masterpiece. It kept me engaged all through. There was no overkill. The pace, albeit slow yet, was the hallmark of the movie. The romance, the painful tragedies that has inflicted Kashmir… I don’t have words to describe my feelings. May peace prevail is all I wish and pray
