This show... was peak. I really dont know how to express all my emotions in this review after watching and even though i usually dont give reviews especially on imdb, i felt i just had to for this absolute cinematic genius of a show. Its complex, gave importance to character development, gave real life references and theories, insane amounts of foreshadowing, plot development is on point, and even though i was hooked form ep 1, im sure the show is insanely binge worthy, all the way to the top of a persons ranking from ep 9. It had thriller, sci fi, slice of life, romance, comedy and basically 90% other genres and not just shabbily put together like other animes or tv shows try to do. Every part of this show, in all of its aspects are perfect. Theres no one plothole. And for a time travel show thats amazing. Shows like back to the future are nothing in terms of complexity and perfectness compared to steins gate. Steins gate is the best sci fi show of all time and arguably the best form of fiction ever created and ill forever stand by that. Ive watched far too many animes and other tv shows but steins; gate just had to be leagues above 2nd place. Truly amazing show. Though some people just call shows "peak" when they remotely start to enjoy it, they dont actually mean it in the sense of it really being peak, as in the best. But ill say this right now. Steins; Gate is PEAK fiction. Whether you like complex shows or whether you prefer other genres, im 100% sure youll enjoy steins gate if you just give it a chance. The plot complexity alone is so beautiful and the way everything is connected and put together is mind blowing. Absolute peak fiction. Theres nothing more to say other than the fact that its peak fiction, because thats what it is. El Psy Kongroo.
